Author
The author is Mark Dudley who currently resides in West Devon. He seems to be completely happy here and has absolutely no intention of ever leaving (until he has to, or is forced to, or even dies) and even his fear of dying is beginning to change since he now understands that ‘death’ is probably just an error in the mind.
The author was born in London but was brought up in East Devon, what seems to be a very long time ago. The author hated East Devon with a vengeance, so much so that even Australia didn’t seem far enough away. He spent most of his life trying to escape East Devon, until he suddenly realized he was trying to escape himself.
Mark actually spent seven months back in East Devon, on the farm where he grew up, and not so very long ago (weeks actually, at the time of writing). To his surprise, he found he really enjoyed it. He discovered that adult eyes are different from child’s eyes. He would like to thank his father, deceased now for over ten years, for the superhuman effort he must have given in building up the farm - most of which went completely unrecognized and unthanked (by him) - and also his mother, who is still alive and still calls him “her little boy” with a twinkle in her eye.
The author is open to questions about A Course in Miracles, if anyone wants, but likes to stress that persistence is the key. And there are plenty of excellent teachers out there, as well as groups, if groups feel more your thing. He can be contacted on markdudley365@gmail.com.
